Yesterday was the first time, i was suppose to stay away from media, but the truth is "I cheated" (haha) not because i wanted to, but because if forgot for a few moments. Every day i don't have to rush to go somewhere, as i wake up i usually go straight to grab something to eat. While eating I'm always watching T.V., because i like the morning shows and i like watching the Novelas episodes i've missed during the week, because if i don't do something else besides eating i get so bored. So as usual, saturday morning i turned on the T.V., and started watching it until i remember that i wasn't suppose to be watching T.V. So for the rest of the day i tried to accomplish my goal of not text messaging or talk on the phone, and i tried so hard to stay away from the computer, because that is my number one priority, i can't stay away from my laptop, from msn, or facebook (haha). So to not be there at home without doing something productive, i went to wash my car, which if it wasn't for this project I probably wouldn't have done it. After i came from washing my car, i used my little brother as my distraction to stay away from my room, since it was super hot out side, I took my little brother to the store to buy some balloons. Then we started playing water balloons fight, and we stayed out side for a very long time. The i went with my mom to buy some chicken wings for dinner, the truth is I let her drive so i was able to listen so some music (haha). Since it was saturday night all of my friends were calling me and texting me to see what we were going to do, I was trying so hard to not answer, but it was saturday night and i wanted to go out, so i ended up answering just one of my friends. What I've learned just yesterday, is that media has a very heavy power over us or i don't know if it is just in me, but media beat me yesterday.
