First day of the project

This was the first day of the media deprivation project, and it went really well for me. Due to the fact that I spent today with my parents and we want to Eagle Pass Texas. I told my parents about the project and that I was taking vacation from work all weekend long so I do the project. So my mothers decide that we go to the lucky eagle casino and do a little gambling. So we went and spent about 12 hours out there and for my first time going to a casino was fun for me. So for not being home and away from all the media outlets that I am using in my daily was not as hard as I thought it was going to be because I was out town and having a wonderful day with my mother and father. Yes I can go more without modern media such as the internet, television, and IPod and radio, etc… In my mind of thinking right now as I write this blog is that I can do without modern media for a while in my life it not a depended as I thought it was in my life. In case is that modern media such as Television, radio, and internet, and etc… is more of need. But as I look after today and may be tomorrow that by doing this project that it would show me a new light in going out and having wonderful days and doing other things in my life. So instead of me just sitting in front on my computer, watch Television, and things. That why I as of right now I’m going to go out in the world and do other things then been cook up in my room all day long and just go out and do stuff that I would enjoy in my life like going to parks, fishing, and other wonderful things.

  1. Ha, my parents also make the trip to the casinos in Eagle Pass from time to time. They frequent the Kickapoo casino. I went with them once to the casinos in Kinder, Louisiana. It was while traveling on the bus that I saw my first (and last) Tyler Perry film. Man, I give the guy credit for making a fortune but wow, his films are an acquired taste, and let's just leave it at that.

BTW, I'm glad to hear you've discovered the advantages of being without various forms of mass media.
